Penis Enlargement Cosmetic Surgery That Your Should Know

Some Useful Facts About Penis Enlargement Cosmetic Surgery That Your Should Know

It is quite understandable that people do not feel like discussing openly the topic of penis enlargement cosmetic surgery, it is connected with their anxiety about privacy preservation, they are afraid of acquiring a kind of public stigma. But if we take a look at the problem in an open-minded manner, the natural questions that arise are "Is the penis surgery actually necessary?" and "How safe is this kind of surgery, taking into consideration its efficiency?"

The operations of penis enlargement surgery are often referred to as penis augmentation or penile enhancement surgery. The common anxiety often experienced by a hefty share of the male population (quite possibly by the overwhelming majority of all men) is connected with the size or appearance of their penises. Different male persons differently react to this experience: some men happily live through them and let them pass and fade away, at the same time some other people suffer from the small penis problem in a rather distressing way. The problem here is that men with penises that might be considered as something below the category of "well-hung" have a tendency to perceive that situation as a humiliation to their male self-esteem.

As a result of frustrations and distresses related to the totally unimpressive look of their penises, such people develop problems with their sexual relationships and activities, which they began to avoid; also the idea that other people might see them nude becomes a source of constant stress for them. What is worse, even the fact of their anxiety about the apparent smallness of their penises becomes an embarrassment! No wonder so many men are interested in methods of penis enlargement.

Basically, the penis enlargement surgery comprises two separate surgical procedures. One of them is aimed at increase of the penis length; the other concerns the penis circumference enlargement. As a rule, the patients prefer to undergo both penis enlargement surgeries at the same time.

The circumference of the penis is increased by transplantation of fat tissues into the areas around the penis shaft (sometimes the method of fat cell injections is employed). Than means the principle of the procedure is totally opposite to the popular liposuction procedure, which implies suction out or cutting out of fat cells. This surgical procedure is often referred to as fat cells transfer and its objective is to enlarge the penis circumference.

This method of penis circumference increase suffers from two inherent problems. The first problem is that the transplanted fat cells make the penis feel unmanly soft, kind like a female breast. The second problem that is sometimes encountered is the abnormal behavior of the transplanted fat tissues; they can reverse the results of the surgery through been re-absorbed back into the penis anatomy. More than that, some penis enlargement patients discover - to their bitter distress - that the re-absorption process can be uneven, that leads to an ugly, misshapen and lumpy-looking penis.

However, the modern technique of penis enlargement surgery has come up with a method to remedy the fat re-absorption problem by introducing dermal transfer procedure. Dermal transfer consists of transplantation of fat tissues in combination with skin strips. The skin strips prevent the fat re-absorption back into the body through the penis shaft. At the same time this method is much more complicated, since it implies grafting of fat and skin tissues simultaneously. That leads to even higher risks of getting a misshaped lumpy penis.

Corpora cavernosa is a very important part of the penis anatomy; it is essentially responsible for having a good erection due to the extra blood inflow into its two chambers that consist of sponge-like tissues. As a rule, corpus cavernosa cavities extend from the penis back into the body. Sometimes it happens so that almost half of the corpora cavernosa tissues are located inside the body beyond the penis itself, therefore they are invisible for the persons looking at the penis from outside.
One of the tricks that the penis lengthening surgery will render is making a penis look longer than before by way of the release of the tissue, which has been concealed inside the body, though technically the penis length remains the same. In order to release the concealed part of the penis, it is necessary to sever so called suspensory ligaments. This part of penis anatomy is responsible for keeping the concealed part of corpora cavernosa securely within the body.

After the cutting off of the suspensory ligaments, the hidden in the body part of the penis will be released, and visually the penis length will appear longer. This is true, after this procedure the flaccid penis size can be substantially augmented, but in some cases the erected penis gains rather modest increase in its length.

There are potentially adverse side effects experienced upon the ligament cutting. The matter is that after this surgery the penis is no longer safely anchored to the pubic bone, its condition is often described as floating or loose. In flaccid state of the penis it does not constitute a problem. But in erect condition the penis may experience several complications.

Since the penis is not anchored to the pubic bone any more, the floating erect penis can be prone to slipping and shifting around during love making. In absence of holding ligament the direction of the erected penis can become downwards or sideways pointed. On the other hand, modern surgical techniques offer some sophisticated countermeasures to minimize this problem.

As you see, even the modern penis enlargement surgery with its much improved technique is not perfectly safe and carries some inherent risks of complications and side-effects. That is why many highly-professional surgeons will not recommend penis enlargement surgery out of purely cosmetic reasons.
